Economy and Society of Knowledge. Cultural Policies in the Euro Mediterranean Quadrant

The Third Edition of Ravello LAB – International Forum took place from 9th to 11th October 2008. During the third edition, participants tried to further develop some of the most meaningful conclusions of the previous edition of Ravello LAB in strong connection with the annual meetings launched by European Union (2008 Intercultural Dialogue Year; 2009 Creativity Year). The issue on the table was: “Economy and Society of Knowledge. Cultural Policies in the Euro Mediterranean Quadrant”.

 As usual, the forum was organised into two parallel working sessions on the following issues:

1) the relationship creativity-competitiveness in urban policies

2) the cultural production in Euro Mediterranean dialogue

The working sessions have led to the production of the Ravello LAB Recommendations 2008.
