Ravello LAB 2009

From 29th to 31st October 2009, the fourth Edition of Ravello LAB International Forum took place in Ravello. Participants analysed the following issue: “2007-2013: culture and development. Actions, tools and projects for the European Cohesion Policy”. 

The Forum was divided into two different working sessions aimed at studying two main priorities, the European cultural and creative industries and cultural productions in the Mediterranean Sea. 
The fourth edition of Ravello LAB, was also in line with the annual events promoted by the European Union in the framework of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009.

A Soul for Europe

Since 2004, the ‘A Soul for Europe’ initiative believes that culture is a key resource to promote the real integration and unification of Europe.

The perfect coincidence between Ravello LAB and A Soul for Europe has encouraged the organisation of the first edition of Forum Italia – “Un’Anima per l’Europa – A Soul for Europe“.
Forum Italia is part of Forum X “A Soul for Europe”, a series of high level meetings across Europe with the objective to establish a fruitful interaction and positive dialogue among civil society, in particular the cultural sector, and the words of politics and economics to promote the development of the European project. The series began in March 2007 with Forum Belgrade – “Душа Европe – A Soul for Europe” and has since then continued with successful events in Pécs, Skopje, Lyon, Sofia, Prague which brought lasting concrete results in the respective contexts.
