Federculture, was born in 1997 with the objective to bring out the Country’s cultural and environmental heritage, supporting the efforts of small and big municipalities to optimize costs and services, asserting a business culture for the management of theatres, museums, libraries, tourist services, sport facilities and protected areas. In fact, the National Federation is the network of local authorities and public and private authorities that manage services for leisure time. It joins “Confservizi”, the Italian confederation of local public services, with which it promotes a modern philosophy of territory management and a system of cultural and tourist services more effective and more citizens and market-oriented.
Il Centro Universitario Europeo per i Beni Culturali di Ravello, was established on 10 February 1983 upon the initiative of the Italian Parliamentary Delegation to the Council of Europe, under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council and of the Italian Government and with the support of distinguished representatives of the European scientific world belonging to the P.A.C.T. (European Study Group on Physical, Chemical, Biological and Mathematical Techniques applied to Archaeology). It is an association whose members are Institutional Bodies, cultural centres and training organisations, and is located in the prestigious Villa Rufolo of Ravello, one of the jewels of the spectacular Amalfi Coast, surrounded by a breathtaking wealth of cultural heritage. It has been legally recognised through a decree of the President of the Italian Republic, and co-operates with UNESCO, ICCROM, the European Commission, the Council of Europe and other prestigious international organisations, for which it plays a unique role as a centre for excellence for the scientific and professional specialisation of graduates in the field of cultural heritage.
Following the provisions of the national law, Formezitalia S.p.A. has been recently established to assist the Department for Public Administration in coordinating the whole Italian public training system.
FormezItalia S.p.A. mission is to provide oversight, guidance, and support for the development and proactive implementation of training programs to be delivered to the national and local public administration personnel. In furtherance of this mission, FormezItalia S.p.A. actively promotes the role of vocational training to drive a more coordinated effort regarding recruitment and career development procedures, as well as innovative HR management practices, thus dynamically supporting the Italian public administration modernization process.
